Welcome to the Pizza Problem of the Week!

The Problem of the Week is a non-trivial example of useful programming which helps to illustrate the usefulness of the Pizza extensions. We assume that the reader is at least slightly familiar with Java: the rôle of this page is less to teach plain Java as it is to highlight what's new in Pizza. It's worth pointing out once again that every valid Java program is a valid Pizza program: when you upgrade from Java to Pizza, you lose nothing! On the other hand, you can gain a high degree of additional and useful expressiveness in writing programs, as the example we will feature here will attempt to show.

There are currently no new problems of the week since key members of the group are in transition to Australia. We will resume the series in February 1997
